Opportunity for display at Seeley Swan Medical Center

Alpine Artisans member artists are invited to showcase their work at the newly remodeled Seeley Swan Medical Center. This is a community service performed by member artists to provide original artwork at the SSMC.
Rachelle Harman will be the contact person for the SSMC exhibit. The exhibit will be up for 4-6 months, then will be rotated. Each display will feature multiple artists. Artists will exhibit at their own risk, SSMC insurance will not cover the art work. However, there is a new, high-tech security system in place that is monitored at all times. Clear plastic wall mount available for brochures/business cards, etc.. Any sales made as a result of the exhibit are between the artist and the buyer, the SSMC will take no commission on any sales, and there is no charge to exhibit. Art work must be suitable for viewing by the general public and children. Art work is limited to wall-hung art only, and must be ready to hang with wire (not saw-tooth) hangers. If a piece is sold during the exhibit, or the artist needs to remove a piece for another exhibit, we ask that they replace it with another piece.

Artists can contact Rachelle Harman at (406)677-6012 or email for any further questions.

Find Art Montana website

We are happy to introduce a new resourceful website,,  designed to help tourists and travelers locate artists throughout our state.  Check out the site, put together by Jan Shanahan and Kris A. Kramer. We would like you to be a part of Find Art Montana and invite you to complete the Artist Information Form located in the Artist Inquiries section of the  About This Site category on the home page.  There are no fees associated with the listing for your art business--it just takes a few minutes of your time to complete the forms located on the site and send them to us.

The site is a directory to help everyone to connect with local Montana artists, learn about various artwork processes, appreciate art, and have an option to purchase artwork.  This directory also provides artists with an opportunity to share their passion for their art from their own studio space, to reference their own gallery website, and list businesses that showcase and sell their art. As an artist on, you would have a personal profile page, which will include basic information you provide, a brief description of your artwork, a link to your website, an address and map to your studio, two other locations where your work is on display, and six rotating representative photographs. (If you do not have a studio available for visiting, please consider listing anyway--the businesses that carry your work would appreciate the promotion.)  Please take a look at the artists' profile pages on the site to see how the format will work well to promote your work. Visitors can find artists by name, by location, or by medium.  The primary goals are to get artists listed on the site and to have them placed on search engines ASAP.

Please return the Artist Information Form with your 6 photographs so we can start building your artist page right away!  We will work with you to review your profile page once it's on the site and you'll have a "one-stop" shopping resource for all your work.  Saves time when you're letting people know how to be in can just let them know to go to!
