Youth Arts Grants and Senior Arts Scholarship

Alpine Artisans provided Youth Grants to the following recipients in 2019.

  • Grace Wilson, from Seeley Lake attended Missoula Children's Theater Spring Break Camp.
  • Easton Davis, from Potomac started guitar lessons in Missoula over the summer.
  • Akaiah Veller, from Lincoln attended the Christian Youth Theater Camp in Spokane.
  • Kaden Thornsberry, from Condon took guitar lessons in Kalispel.

The Senior Scholarship went to Kyle Peltier, of Seeley Lake who will be studying creative writing at U of Mt Western this next year.

We are offer:

Youth Arts Grants

All K-12 students attending schools, or home-schooled, in the Blackfoot and Seeley-Swan Valleys are eligible. The maximum youth grant award is $300 to help with tuition and expenses for art, drama, dance, or music workshops, camps, or lessons. See the Art and Music Resource Suggestions below.
A given individual may receive a Youth Grant up to a maximum of three times over the course of several years.

Senior Scholarship

High school seniors graduating from Seeley-Swan High School and Lincoln High School, and graduating home-schooled students residing in the Blackfoot or Seeley-Swan Valleys, or former graduates now attending an institution of higher education, are eligible for a $500 - $1000 scholarship to contribute to their studies majoring or minoring in one of the arts at an institution of higher education.
