Support 2 Valleys Stage Outreach Programs
The most important part of the 2 Valleys Stage program takes place in our local schools. Each 2VS performing group completes a 2-4 day residency in our area schools doing informances and workshops for students. Were it not for 2 Valleys Stage, many of the students in our community would never have an opportunity to experience such high-caliber performers, nor to interact with them. Exposure to high-quality performing arts encourages students of all ages to aspire to achieve excellence in whatever they choose to do. To date, 2 Valleys Stage has brought 107 informances, 246 workshops and 40 community performances to the Seeley-Swan Valley.
Ticket sales alone do not meet the financial obligations 2 Valleys Stage incurs in bringing these fine performers to our schools and our community. Recognizing this, generous individuals, families and businesses choose to make contributions to sustain and help grow our program. The 2011-2012 categories for levels of giving include:
- Residency Benefactor - $5,000 and above
- Benefactor - $1,000-$4,999
- Patron - $500-$999
- Supporter - $250-$499
- Sponsor - $100-$249
- Contributor - $25-$99
Donors may choose to remain anonymous or they may have their names published in the printed program for each public performance throughout the season.
