Senior Scholarship
The 2026 Senior Scholarship application period will be available in
the middle of February with the application deadline of April 17, 2026.
The Senior Scholarship was created to support tuition or fees for post-secondary education. Eligibility includes high school students in their senior year attending Seeley-Swan High School, Lincoln High School or a home-school program residing in the Blackfoot or Seeley Swan Valley. Scholarship awards range between $500-$1000. While pursuit of an art degree is most applicable, other degree paths will be considered. If your degree path does not include an art specific degree, please be prepared to explain how the arts will enhance your educational pursuit and how you plan to stay engaged in artistic endeavors.
Last year’s 2025 Senior Scholarship recipient was
Aubrey Matthew
In her application, Aubrey wrote,
I have always been invested in the arts, whether it was drawing, painting, theater, music, and now graphic design. I have competed in promotional photography through Business Professionals of America two years, as well as practiced graphic design work in two years of yearbook, two years of entrepreneurship, and one year of graphic design electives.
I have received two Alpine Artisan grants over the years, one to participate in a Missoula Children Theatre production over the summer in Missoula when I was in Elementary school, and another this past spring to fund Adobe Indesign on my computer as I became interested in graphic design work.
I will be attending college online in the fall through Abilene Christian University majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders as the first step to becoming a licensed speech-language pathologist. I understand that my degree does not contain an art related major or minor, however I am prepared to continue working and growing through my graphic design career.
Congratulations to Aubrey!
