Jazz, African dance, Classical piano, Creole and Celtic music, and much, much more! 2 Valleys Stage brings the outside world into our rural valleys with high-caliber performing arts experiences. Emphasis is on providing meaningful, educational, and enriching experiences to our schools and communities, including a diverse offering of music, theater, and dance performances.

2 Valleys Stage has brought a unique and wonderful variety of cultures and the arts to Seeley-Swan High School. They engage our students in the arts and teach them about the world. They have done an outstanding job of supporting our mission of creating well rounded global citizens.

— Kellen Palmer, former Principal, Seeley-Swan High School

Guest artists offer students hands-on, creative activities through workshops and lessons as well as creative arts activities. 2 Valleys Stage hosts five community concerts each year, and presents Montana Shakespeare in the Parks each summer.

“2 Valleys Stage has been an integral part of our program here at Seeley Lake Elementary.  As a tiny school, we have minimal exposure to the performing arts but 2 Valleys Stage has brought the performing arts to us! Without this experience, our children would be limited to virtual learning at best. Thank you to all performers and representatives from 2 Valleys Stage for enriching the lives of our students!”

— Pattie Crum, Second Grade Teacher, Seeley Lake Elementary

Many students served by 2 Valleys Stage may not have opportunities outside this program to experience the enrichment and inspiration that live performances offer.  Whether or not a student plans a career in the performing arts is not the primary focal point of 2 Valleys Stage’s outreach program.  Rather, a deep commitment to achieving excellence in one’s field whether as a scientist, mathematician, or athlete serves as the foundation of 2 Valleys Stage. Students will aspire to greatness when they see and hear what can be accomplished when an individual or group of individuals set their sights on excelling at whatever they may choose to do.
